Role: National Account Manager

Location: National (ideally Northwest based)

Salary: £65,000-£70,000 + 10% Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

We are partnering with a leading food manufacturer to recruit a Senior Account Controller for their commercial team, a key role for an experienced National Account Manager ready to take the next step.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this is a strategic and hands-on position with full P&L responsibility across key retail accounts. You will develop JBPs, drive NPD and promotional plans, and lead retailer engagement across both branded and private label categories.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven NAM/SNAM experience in FMCG food, ideally within private label bakery
  • Strong P&L ownership and customer management skills
  • Experience working with Top 4 grocers and/or Discounters
  • Commercially astute, solutions-oriented, and confident in cross-functional environments
  • Branded FMCG training/background desirable
