The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead strategic projects that sit across sales, product, marketing and operations, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and on time.
You'll be someone who can quickly understand complex situations, bring structure to ambiguity and confidently build relationships with stakeholders at every level of the business. You'll have the credibility to influence senior leaders, the drive to push projects forward and the commercial awareness to understand what really matters to the business.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be analysing commercial performance, the next coordinating a business-wide initiative or supporting the launch of a new strategic project. If you enjoy variety, ownership and working at pace, you'll love this role.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic Project Lead
- Lead strategic, cross-functional projects from concept through to successful delivery.
- Work closely with the CEO to turn business priorities into clear, actionable plans.
- Coordinate activity across product, sales, marketing and operations to ensure projects remain on track.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, influencing and driving progress where needed.
- Analyse business performance, identify trends and provide clear commercial insights to support decision making.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and briefing documents for the CEO and leadership team.
- Monitor company objectives, project milestones and key business KPIs.
- Attend senior leadership meetings, capture actions and ensure accountability across the business.
- Remove obstacles, solve problems and step into priority projects wherever required.
- Continuously look for ways to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
- Provide executive support to the CEO where appropriate, helping protect their time and focus on high-value activity.
Your Background - Strategic Project Lead
We're looking for someone who combines commercial thinking with exceptional interpersonal skills. You'll be naturally curious, highly organised and able to build credibility quickly with people across the business.
Ideally you'll have:
- Experience working within a SaaS, software or technology business.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence people at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insight.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction.
- High levels of resilience, adaptability and attention to detail.
- Experience working across multiple business functions such as sales, marketing, product or operations would be highly advantageous.
