We’re partnering with an established and highly regarded business in the financial technology sector which works with major global brands to deliver innovative tools and platforms. With a strong reputation for quality and expertise, the business combines technical capability with a collaborative and supportive culture. This is an opportunity to join during a key period, stepping into a well-defined role with real ownership and visibility and scope to genuinely contribute.

This is an 11-month maternity cover contract for a Marketing and Events Specialist, offering a broad and hands-on role within a busy and high-performing team. This position is well suited to an experienced marketer who enjoys delivery, ownership and variety. You’ll take the lead on key activity, particularly across events and sales enablement, while supporting wider marketing execution. This is not a holding role. You’ll be fully embedded in the team, taking responsibility for important projects and ensuring activity continues to run smoothly and effectively during the contract period. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in maintaining momentum across marketing and supporting wider commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of company events and exhibitions, including planning, logistics, suppliers and budgets
  • Manage and coordinate RFI and RFP responses, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, including presentations and supporting materials
  • Deliver day-to-day marketing activity across multiple channels
  • Support content creation across social, blog and campaign assets
  • Assist with website updates, email campaigns and CRM activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver activity effectively

Your Background:

  • Proven experience in a broad, B2B marketing role
  • Strong track record in managing events, both in-person and virtual
  • Experience supporting sales teams with proposals and collateral
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working with autonomy
  • Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot would be advantageous
