We are working with a well established UK based consumer services organisation operating within a regulated environment. The business supports a loyal customer base and continues to grow through a strong focus on trust, service quality and response led marketing. They are now looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to take ownership of key offline and direct response channels. This is a newly created role in an expanding marketing team and offers the opportunity to lead insert and direct marketing activity focused on a senior customer audience, with clear accountability for performance and return on investment. Key Responsibilities - Marketing Manager
- Take full ownership of insert marketing activity across publications, parcels, catalogues and product despatch.
- Plan, deliver and optimise insert campaigns with a strong focus on relevance, response rates and efficiency within a senior audience.
- Lead direct marketing activity including direct mail and response led campaigns, with clear performance measurement.
- Manage media and creative agencies from briefing and budgeting through to delivery, reporting and optimisation.
- Work closely with internal teams and creative partners to develop compliant, on brand advertising, including copy input where required.
- Monitor campaign performance and use insight and data to inform future planning and optimisation.
- Manage campaign budgets, forecasts and approvals accurately and proactively.
- Support wider brand and response activity across channels including TV, radio and PR.
- Ensure all activity aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Stay close to market and competitor activity, particularly within the over 50 demographic.
Your Background - Marketing Manager
- Proven experience delivering insert marketing campaigns including publications and parcel inserts.
- Strong experience in direct marketing within a response driven B2C environment.
- Demonstrable experience marketing to senior or over 50 audiences, with an understanding of messaging, tone and channel effectiveness.
- Experience briefing and managing agencies across media planning, buying and creative delivery.
- Commercially minded and confident using data to assess performance and inform decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a hands on approach.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within a regulated industry such as insurance, financial services or utilities.
- Exposure to additional offline channels including TV, radio or PR.
- Experience working in response led or performance focused marketing environments.
