Base pay range: We’re partnering with a group that operates a number of leisure venues across the UK. They’re known for creating memorable guest experiences with each site’s individual character prominent whilst being underpinned by the brand’s strong reputation. With the estate growing and the business going from strength to strength, this is a really exciting time to join.
The Role
As Local Marketing Manager you’ll be the link between central brand strategy and on-the-ground activity. You’ll work closely with site managers and regional teams to make sure each location has the right marketing support to boost revenue, strengthen its reputation whilst delivering an exceptional guest experience. It’s a role that combines insight, creativity and commercial thinking ideal for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys making a real impact at site level – if you’re someone who feels comfortable sitting at your desk all week, this role isn’t for you! An average week will see you in the office on the outskirts of London one or two days a week, visiting sites once or twice and working from home for the remainder.
Key Responsibilities
- Build close relationships with the managers of individual sites to understand the nuances of the local market
- Create site-specific campaigns and promotions that will resonate with local audiences, bolstering brand loyalty and acquiring new customers
- Tracking and monitoring response and success
- Monitor competitor activity both locally and nationally
- Ensure brand standards are maintained throughout the estate
- Jigsaw with other departments to ensure consistency and timely execution of plans
Your Background
- Experience working across multiple sites in hospitality, leisure, retail or travel
- A good grasp of how localised campaigns and promotions influence behaviour and drive sales
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence and support colleagues at different levels across the business
- Comfortable analysing performance data and using insight to guide decisions
- Highly organised and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
