As our Group Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in our ambitious and successful organisation. With a broad and varied remit, you'll take ownership of financial control, reporting, and consolidation across the Group, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and continuous improvement in everything we do. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance strategic influence with operational excellence.
What you'll be up to:
- Lead Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated reporting, manage the Group close process, ensure UK GAAP compliance, and maintain accounting policies.
- Strengthen Financial Control & Governance: Establish robust internal controls, ensure policy adherence, mitigate financial risk, and drive standardised best practice across the Group.
- Manage Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Act as primary contact for external auditors, coordinate audits and statutory reporting, and ensure full regulatory compliance with continuous improvement.
- Deliver Strategic Business Partnering: Provide financial insight to senior leadership, influence performance through analysis, and promote a strong business-partnering culture.
- Own Board Reporting, Treasury & Cash Flow: Prepare board-level financial reports, manage cash flow and forecasting, oversee debtors and procurement processes.
- Lead Finance Team & Systems Excellence: Manage and develop the finance team, ensure robust finance systems and controls, and maintain compliance with statutory bodies.

- You have multiple post-qualified experience in a management finance role within a medium-sized business, including strong Group accounting experience.

- You're a proven people leader who can motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
- You're highly advanced in Excel.
- You have strong finance systems knowledge, including ERP implementation or finance transformation experience.
- You ideally have experience within an agency or people-centric business.
- You're commercially minded, able to deliver real value, and excited to grow with the role and the business.
