There is currently an opportunity within our growing consulting practice for a Manager or an Associate Director, Valuation with a primary focus on managing client relationships, project delivery and business development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Working on clients primarily in Europe, which may include requirement to travel to the client’s respective country for pitches, meetings or presentations.
- Deliver brand valuation and broader intangible asset advisory work, including financial modelling, strategic analysis and insight‑led recommendations.
- Lead and scope projects, managing briefs, proposals, delivery and presentation of findings end‑to‑end.
- Prepare reports, proposals and presentations to a high standard for senior client stakeholders, including board‑level audiences.
- Understand and help sell the full Brand Finance offer, identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and broaden account value.
- Manage and coach analysts and consultants in valuation modelling, research analysis and report creation.
- Work collaboratively across teams and offices, while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
- 4+ years’ experience, preferably in professional services, valuation consultancies, brand agencies, market research agencies, PR agencies or similar environments.
- Strong financial modelling capability, including financial forecasts (P&L and cash flow) and net present value calculations.
- Strong interest in brands, marketing and market research, with a broad understanding of branding, finance and consumer insight.
- Ability to combine rigorous analysis with commercial judgement and clear story‑telling.
- Self‑starter with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and an eye for clients’ needs.
- Comfortable setting priorities independently and managing multiple workstreams at pace.
- Experience in planning and conducting research, and working cross‑departmentally, is desirable.
- Experience of managing or coaching junior team members is preferred.
- Professional qualification in a formal accountancy (e.g. CIMA, ACA, CFA) or an equivalent discipline is advantageous.
- Fluency in German, Spanish, French or Dutch is a plus.
