Role Purpose and Overview

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Assistant Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing solutions agency, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across healthcare, restaurant, travel, and leisure sectors. This role goes beyond delivery support and requires a candidate who can bring marketing expertise, add value to client work, and actively contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Delivery & Execution: Support the end-to-end delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and print. Assist in managing timelines, deliverables, and campaign outputs across multiple clients. Ensure all activity aligns with client objectives, briefs, and brand strategy.
  • Internal Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Client Leads, Project Managers, creatives, and content specialists, to ensure seamless execution. Contribute to a collaborative agency environment, ensuring alignment across disciplines and workstreams.
  • Client & Account Support: Assist the Client Lead/Manager in day-to-day client communication, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism. Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and campaign updates. Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Content & Quality Support: Assist with briefing, reviewing, and refining marketing content across channels. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines. Support adaptation of content for different audiences and sectors (healthcare, consumer, hospitality).
  • Sector Navigation & Compliance: Develop an understanding of healthcare marketing regulations (e.g. ABPI) and ensure compliance where required. Support work across less regulated sectors such as restaurant and travel, adapting tone and approach accordingly.
  • Performance & Insights: Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling reports. Support research and insight gathering across different sectors. Contribute to continuous improvement of campaign effectiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing, agency, or client-services environment.
  • Relevant marketing qualification desirable (e.g. CIM, degree, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals (digital, content, campaigns).
  • Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and organisational capability.
