Who You Are
We are looking for an editor/self-shooter to join the small but expanding video production team here at Brand Brewery. As an agency, we work across a varied and exciting array of content, ranging from (not your average) BTS shoots at corporate events through to filming some of the biggest names in sport on the pitch/court/road. You’ll be working on everything from 30s social media cuts to longer-form multicamera shoots. We are also increasing our offering in motion graphics, so experience in this area would be beneficial.
You’ll be responsible for editing short-form and long-form content, creating motion graphics, and supporting the post-production process from concept to final delivery.
The successful candidate doesn’t necessarily need to have previous agency experience, but will need to be able to hit the ground running in terms of managing their own time and inputting into projects (with directional oversight) in an often fast-paced, award-winning agency environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with other departments, including the Design Team
- Ensuring our values are always at the forefront of any task
- Design and animate motion graphics for intros, transitions, lower thirds, titles, and explainer videos
- Assist in assembling rough cuts and refining edits with feedback
- Stay up to date with trends in video editing, animation, and digital storytelling
What You’ll Bring
We’re not just after experience—we’re after the right attitude, too. If you’re proactive, thoughtful, and excited about growing with us, you’ll fit right in.
Some of the things we’re looking for:
Skills
- A thorough knowledge of Premiere Pro alongside proficiency in After Effects (other CC programs would be an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- A basic understanding of lighting setup and green screen keying
- A keen eye for detail and a creative sense for editing, motion graphics and animation
- Good Understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, aspect ratios, export settings and different deliverables, including delivery for social and broadcast
- Ability to keep track of and back up an ever-expanding archive of footage
- The ability to interpret briefs and add creative input where required
- Understanding of video formats, compression, aspect ratios, and export settings
- A keen interest in post-production workflow, including colour correction, sound mixing and encoding files for delivery
- The ability to create a compelling narrative through the edit and a desire to produce work to the highest standard possible
- Familiarity with motion templates and expressions in After Effects (nice to have)
Tools
The role will also involve some videography in the form of filming content for in-house. This may involve anything from creating original content for our social channels, or behind-the-scenes style shooting on some of our events/larger shoots
- Proficiency with AS7 or similar camera set-up
- Understanding of sound recording
- Understanding of video formats, compression, aspect ratios, and export settings.
- Being comfortable and self-sufficient behind the camera in a ‘run and gun’ environment
If you can tick the above boxes and would like to join our fun, diverse and expanding team, then send us some examples of your work and tell us why you are the best person for the job.
What You’ll Get
