We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and flexible individual with experience of working in a busy office and remote environments. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, able to work well within a team, but also manage their own workload with good time management. Responsibilities- Support the Group IT Infrastructure Manager in providing a first class Information Technology Platform for internal staff and customers.
- Help manage the virtual environment which hosts a variety of server platforms and applications.
- Maintain the existing server and network infrastructure, implement approved changes, and provide 3rd line IT support across several sites globally.
- Establish and maintain processes for monitoring and maintaining server and network performance and security.
- Maintain our virtual environment (VMware/Hyper-V/Azure).
- Maintain server and network infrastructure, including installing, updating, patching, and producing supporting documentation.
- Maintain Active Directory (Azure Hybrid), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SQL Server, etc.
- Work with SQL Administrator to ensure optimal performance of database servers.
- Ensure all processes for backups and disaster recovery are functioning.
- Undertake IT projects as directed by the Group IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Provide 3rd line IT Support to the business.

- Microsoft O365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Defender, Intune, etc)
- Systems and Server backup technologies
- IIS Server
- PowerShell
- Microsoft SQL Server Installation and Maintenance
- Experience working with SAN technologies
- Experience working with backup technologies
- Good experience of managing firewalls, switches, APs and other network devices
- In-depth knowledge of networking and security including TCP/IP, OSI model, protocols and VLANs
- Knowledge of server performance and optimising configurations
- Experience implementing industry standard security principles across the server and network environment
- Works well in a team and by themselves
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Cisco, WatchGuard and FortiGate switches and firewalls
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Experience in server and network hardening
- Experience working with managed XDR solutions
- Systems monitoring tools
- Experience supporting ISO27001 accreditation
