The Opportunity
As part of our commitment to maintaining robust quality and compliance standards, we are seeking an experienced Vendor Quality Manager to join our Global Quality team. This is a business‑critical role, providing senior quality oversight, supplier assurance and operational support with the main focus across our European supply and customer base.
Your Mission
- Lead and manage the European supplier audit and quality programme.
- Drive resolution of quality and compliance issues from suppliers and customers using structured root‑cause and corrective‑action approaches.
- Ensure products and suppliers meet Brand Addition, client and regulatory requirements before approval and ongoing use.
- Ensure suppliers are aligned with all Brand Addition global CSR policies.
- Support internal teams and clients by strengthening supplier performance and quality assurance processes.
- Travel within the UK and Europe to conduct onsite audits.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to Internal Staff ensuring full understanding of the importance of Vendor Management to the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior quality or supplier quality role within a consumer products or supply‑chain‑led business.
- Supplier Assurance: Strong background in supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action management.
- Good understanding of Ethical & Social Audits: SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, SA8000 and ISO Certifications - ISO9001 (Quality) ISO45001 (Health & Safety).
- Consumer Products: Familiarity with quality assurance within consumer products, including product testing, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Problem Solving: Structured, pragmatic approach to issue resolution and continual improvement.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross‑functionally with purchasing, compliance, warehouse, product, and client teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging suppliers and stakeholders.
