We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and flexible individual with experience of working in a busy office and remote environments. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, able to work well within a team, but also manage their own workload with good time management. We operate a complex multi-site environment, hosting many different systems which enables us to provide class leading solutions to some of the world’s largest companies.
The successful candidate will have a desire to go above and beyond, be flexible with out of hours working when needed and be able to travel occasionally to both our UK and non-UK offices.
The Role:
- Developing and maintaining business intelligence reports based on business requirements.
- Designing, creating and deploying data visualization solutions.
- Gathering and interpreting data to develop business reports.
- Testing and troubleshooting created reports to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Work alongside the Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analysts and Data Architect.
Reports To: CTO
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver timely solutions.
- Assist in the creation of data models and queries using SQL or other data tools.
- Monitor report performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Document report logic, data sources, and processes for future reference.
- Stay updated on BI tools and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes and reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BI Report Builder, BI Developer, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in BI tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with programming languages.
