Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and flexible individual with experience of working in a busy office and remote environments. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, able to work well within a team, but also manage their own workload with good time management. We operate a complex multi-site environment, hosting many different systems which enables us to provide class leading solutions to some the world’s largest companies.

The successful candidate will have a desire to go above and beyond, be flexible with out of hours working when needed and be able to travel occasionally to both our UK and non-UK offices.

The Role:

  • Develop a solid understanding of the business, the contribution of each department, and the metrics that drive performance. Work jointly with department heads and analysts to define KPIs and reports for company-wide performance measurement
  • Work alongside the Data Engineer, Data Architect and Report builders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing business problems and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Develop and maintain basic BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Support ETL processes by preparing and validating data from various sources for reporting accuracy.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and support business initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency across BI tools.
  • Provide user support and training on BI tools and dashboards.
  • Stay informed about foundational BI concepts, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Some experience or internship in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data preparation techniques.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts or platforms.
  • Awareness of data governance and compliance principles.
  • Interest in learning scripting languages.
