We are looking for a junior Desktop Support Engineer with early-stage commercial experience who is keen to develop into a more autonomous, technically rounded role. The position is suited to someone coming from a managed services or small-environment background who wants broader exposure to networks, users, and core infrastructure technologies.

Required Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years’ hands-on experience providing desktop or user support
- Background in a managed services environment or sole IT responsibility within a small organisation
- Strong practical understanding of end-user support and troubleshooting
- Core technical exposure should include:
- Windows desktop support (PC builds, OS issues, drivers, software faults)
- Microsoft Office support across multiple versions
- Basic server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication issues, remote access problems)
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive – permissions, mailboxes, access issues)
- Mobile device and email configuration support
Personal attributes:
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and documentation standards
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Basic scripting (PowerShell or batch)
- Exposure to firewalls, routers, VPN clients
- At least one completed Microsoft certification
- Experience supporting macOS environments
- Virtualisation exposure (Hyper-V or VMware)
- Any involvement in deploying or configuring Windows servers
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
