Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Caregiver role based in Wrexham.

The Caregiver will provide direct support with personal care tasks – such as bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming – while maintaining each individual’s dignity and privacy.

Daily responsibilities include assisting with mobility, meal preparation, feeding and monitoring general wellbeing, as well as supporting medication reminders according to care plans.

The role involves light housekeeping duties – tidying living spaces, laundry and basic cleaning – to maintain a safe environment.

The Caregiver will also offer companionship, encourage participation in social and recreational activities, and document observations and changes in condition for communication with the wider care team.

  • Candidates should possess basic problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to respond appropriately to changes in a client’s condition and escalates concerns when needed.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a care certificate, NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or previous experience in care or support work are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Wrexham, including potential shift work, weekends and holidays, and the capacity to follow health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality standards.
  • A valid right to work in the United Kingdom and, where required, the ability to pass background and reference checks.
