p strong Trading Analyst (Sustainability / Biofuels) /strong /p p strong London, UK | Hybrid | Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits /strong /p p br /p p An established international energy trading business is looking to hire a Trading Analyst to join its expanding Biofuels division in London. /p p br /p p This position offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in biofuels sustainability, working closely with trading, operations and commercial teams across an international business. /p p Unlike a traditional Trading Analyst position, this role focuses primarily on the sustainability requirements associated with physical biofuels trading, including mass balance accounting, certification, documentation, feedstock traceability and regulatory compliance. /p p br /p p The business is open to candidates at different levels of experience, including junior professionals with relevant sustainability exposure and a genuine interest in developing their careers within biofuels. /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p p • Manage sustainability mass balance accounting across biofuels transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of sustainable feedstocks and products. /p p • Collect, review and maintain sustainability documentation for inbound and outbound transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable certification schemes and regulatory requirements. /p p • Coordinate certification activities, support sustainability audits and work with suppliers, counterparties and internal trading teams to ensure feedstock traceability. /p p • Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of sustainability requirements, processes and digital reporting systems. /p p • Work closely with Trading, Operations, Logistics, Biorefineries and Back Office teams on sustainability-related matters. /p p • Support sustainability projects and contribute to ad hoc market analysis, reporting and commercial activities. /p p br /p p Candidate Requirements /p p • Previous exposure to biofuels, renewable fuels, sustainability, certification or related compliance activities. /p p • Understanding of sustainability requirements associated with biofuels trading, ideally including mass balance accounting, certification or feedstock traceability. /p p • Familiarity with HVO, FAME or related biofuels and feedstocks would be advantageous. /p p • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
