A highly recognisable brand in the fast-moving consumer goods sector is currently investing significantly in its IT and digital infrastructure. As part of a wider business transformation initiative, the procurement division is seeking two dynamic Technology Sourcing Managers to join their expanding team.
This organisation is embarking on a major strategic evolution, and procurement is front and centre in this change. With strong executive sponsorship, this is a rare opportunity to shape and define procurement practices in a fast-evolving function with high-level visibility and support.
If you're a driven procurement professional with expertise (or growing experience) in technology categories—especially software and IT services—this could be the perfect opportunity to step into a strategic, high-impact role with substantial influence and scope.
Role Highlights:
- Take ownership of complex IT procurement initiatives, spanning areas such as enterprise software, IT infrastructure, and technology consulting services.
- Build and deliver fresh procurement strategies across a variety of technology spend categories in a largely Greenfield environment.
- Work in close collaboration with innovation and technology teams to support future-facing digital projects.
- Manage senior stakeholders across the business and lead on significant commercial negotiations for high-value contracts.
- Influence long-term sourcing plans and ensure procurement plays a strategic role in key business decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience within IT procurement, especially software, cloud, infrastructure or professional services. Broader indirect procurement profiles with some IT exposure are also welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, high-spend environments—ideally working on £multi-million projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.
- Academic background such as a degree and/or CIPS certification is advantageous, though not essential.
What’s in It for You:
- Competitive salary: £55,000–£85,000 DOE
- Company car allowance
- Annual performance bonus
- Real ownership of major procurement initiatives
- Career advancement opportunities across multiple business streams
- A high-visibility role in a business undergoing exciting digital and operational change
