This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant infrastructure organisation delivering a substantial capital investment programme, including a major long-term infrastructure project alongside a broad portfolio of BAU construction activity.
Operating within a sophisticated Capital Procurement & Commercial function, this role offers the opportunity to play a key role across supplier performance, commercial management, procurement decision-making, supplier governance, and contractor engagement across a complex infrastructure portfolio with £200m+ annual spend (set to increase significantly over time).
This is a highly visible, blended role sitting at the intersection of Procurement, Commercial, Supplier Performance, Risk Management, and Capital Delivery within a complex client-side environment. Working closely with procurement, commercial, and programme stakeholders, you'll help ensure strategic suppliers are performing effectively, risks are mitigated, and robust governance frameworks are embedded across major construction programmes.
With exposure across both BAU contracts and major infrastructure investment, this role offers an excellent blend of commercial responsibility, supplier engagement, and capital programme delivery within a sophisticated and highly collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading supplier performance and relationship management across major construction and infrastructure programmes.
- Driving KPI, SLA, governance, and reporting frameworks across strategic suppliers.
- Managing supplier risk, performance improvement, and QBRs to drive accountability.
- Supporting commercial and procurement decision-making across a complex capital portfolio.
- Working across BAU contracts and major infrastructure projects, partnering with procurement, commercial, and delivery teams.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience across Commercial, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Performance, or Capital Delivery within construction, infrastructure, aviation, utilities, or major projects.
- Strong understanding of supplier performance, contract management, KPI/SLA frameworks, and supplier risk.
- Experience within major infrastructure / capital programmes ideally client-side.
- Exposure to NEC, CEMAR, dashboards, contractor management, or consultancy environments beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior audiences.
- MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
