Global real estate services leader seeks a budding procurement professional keen to take their career to the next level. As well as offering an advanced development and learning program, this business will be relying on their procurement specialists to assist global growth and develop into manager level.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist role will hold the following responsibilities:
- Supporting the evaluation of competitive tenders for the supply of goods and services and to negotiate with suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.
- Play pivotal roles in the development, management and implementation of comprehensive strategies on a global and regional basis to deliver impressive cost savings and wider commercial benefits that impact company results for facilities spend.
- Build strategic relationships with critical suppliers and develop risk mitigation strategies to provide secure and cost-effective sources for specialist commodities.
- Benefit from personally tailored professional development programmes to aid your quick progression within the company.
- As part of a cutting-edge practice within the procurement team, you will assist in all aspects of sourcing process from supplier engagement and analysis through to contracts management.
- You will work with commercial teams to negotiate contracts and deliver savings and value add for the category.
- Working with senior stakeholders, you will develop market know-how and gravitas to influence major decisions across the aviation units.
- Working closely with other members of the procurement team, internal stakeholders and external parties to seek continued improvement in the category value.
Procurement experience required to be successful in this role:
- 2-4+ years Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Category Management experience, with a CV that details commercial achievements (cost savings & avoidance, risk mitigation, supplier relationship and performance improvement, stakeholder engagement).
- Expertise in indirect procurement ideally with the knowledge and experience sourcing facilities services, however this is not required.
- Procurement / strategic sourcing / buying experience within complex global organisations.
- Degree & CIPS qualifications preferred though not essential.
