An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sourcing Execution Director to join a leading global organization. This key leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic value across two core functions: Bid Management and Pricing & Commercial Operations.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sourcing Execution, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing supplier and product strategies, ensuring commercial alignment, and delivering measurable value to the organization and its partners. The Director will lead two highāperforming teams responsible for managing largeāscale sourcing events, complex pricing processes, and market compliance activities. This is a handsāon leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, dataādriven decisionāmaking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Bid Management and Pricing & Commercial Operations teams, providing direct line management to their respective functional leads.
- Partner with Supplier Relations and Strategic Initiatives teams to execute supplier and product strategies through largeāscale sourcing events, adāhoc solicitations, and pricing initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all sourcing events and pricing activities in line with agreed SLAs.
- Drive team and supplier adherence to the organisation's pricing framework, identifying opportunities to enhance compliance and challenge supplier behaviours.
- Identify and deliver process improvements, partnering with Process Improvement and Product teams to standardise workflows, implement system enhancements, and support the wider change agenda.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to define measurable outcomes and KPIs, leveraging data insights to identify market trends and drive sourcing effectiveness.
- Strong leadership and managerial experience, with a proven ability to coach and develop highāperforming teams.
- Excellent analytical capability, comfortable working with complex data and managing operational or technical functions.
- Demonstrated contract negotiation expertise, including experience in multiādimensional negotiations and stakeholder alignment.
- Adaptive and collaborative leadership style, able to build engagement and accountability across teams.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problemāsolving and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Experience within pharmaceuticals is advantageous but not essential.
