A leading global energy trading company is looking to hire an experienced Senior Crude Operations Specialist to join its London-based trading operations team.

Supporting front office crude traders, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end operational execution of physical crude oil cargoes, working across North Sea and international markets in a fast-paced trading environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end operational execution of physical crude oil cargoes.
  • Coordinate closely with traders, shipping, terminals, inspection companies and counterparties.
  • Manage nominations, voyage orders, cargo documentation, Letters of Credit, insurance and vessel clearances.
  • Support operational aspects of North Sea crude trading.
  • Resolve operational issues while minimising commercial and financial risk.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in physical crude oil operations within a commodity trading house, oil major or similar trading environment.
  • Strong understanding of the full crude trading lifecycle.
  • Experience managing cargo documentation, inspections, vessel nominations, Letters of Credit and operational contract execution.
  • Knowledge of North Sea crude operations, BFOE, lifting agreements and spot/term contracts would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with traders and multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially driven trading environment.
