A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Procurement professional with strong Software and SaaS sourcing expertise to join its Global Sourcing function on an interim basis. This is a high-profile opportunity to partner closely with senior technology stakeholders across a broad range of strategic software and digital procurement initiatives within a complex, regulated global environment.

As Interim Global IT Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing activity across Software, SaaS, Cloud, and Technology Services spend, driving commercial value, supplier optimisation, and best-in-class procurement outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted procurement partner to senior IT, Digital, and business stakeholders across global functions.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and commercial negotiations across Software, SaaS, Cloud, and wider Technology Services categories.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships with key software vendors and technology partners.
  • Drive contract negotiations, renewals, licensing optimisation, and commercial risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Support IT and Software category strategy development, demand management, and cost optimisation programmes.
  • Ensure sourcing activity aligns with Financial Services regulatory, risk, and third-party governance requirements.
  • Deliver pace, structure, and commercial rigour within a fast-moving global environment.
Required Background
  • Proven experience within IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Software/SaaS Category Management.
  • Strong track record managing Software, SaaS, Cloud, and Technology Services spend.
  • Experience negotiating complex software agreements, licensing models, renewals, and vendor commercial terms.
  • Financial Services or regulated industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior technology and business leaders.
  • Strong commercial acumen across supplier management, vendor negotiations, and third-party risk.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced interim environment and deliver immediate value.
