As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Leader to take ownership of engineering and project related spend. Reporting into the Procurement Director, you will lead a small team and take accountability for strategic sourcing across engineering projects and services, playing a key role in elevating procurement capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of category strategies across engineering, capex and operational services
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence decision making and embed procurement as a strategic function
  • Drive transformation initiatives, challenging legacy processes and introducing best practice approaches
  • Analyse market trends, supplier innovation and cost drivers to unlock value and improve performance
  • Deliver complex sourcing programmes with a strong focus on governance, risk management and compliance
  • Build, develop and mentor a high performing team aligned to business objectives
Required Experience:
  • Proven procurement leadership experience within a complex, matrix environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders across operational or technical functions
  • Background in engineering, capital projects, technical services or related categories
  • Industry experience within energy, utilities, oil and gas or manufacturing preferred
  • Track record of driving procurement transformation and continuous improvement
  • Degree qualified with MCIPS or equivalent desirable
