Global Leader in Consultancy
Location: UK-Wide (Multiple Office Locations – Flexible Working Options)
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Progression Opportunities
Are you a procurement professional with a knack for the Utilities, Rail, and Energy sectors? Join this esteemed consultancy firm and take the lead in driving procurement excellence across critical infrastructure projects.
The organisation have grown incredibly since the pandemic and are now seeking multiple Senior Procurement Consultants who will bring with them their expertise in Infrastructure & Construction procurement and extensive experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
This is a unique opportunity to have autonomy over significant projects, lead a project team of high-calibre procurement professionals, and manage substantial, business-critical budgets. The projects that you engage in here will be some of the largest in the UK over the next 10 years!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement strategies for large-scale projects in the Utilities, Rail, and Energy sectors.
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from planning and sourcing to contract management and supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Utilize your expertise in NEC and JCT contracts to ensure compliance and optimize contract performance.
- Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic procurement initiatives.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in procurement within the Utilities, Rail, and Energy sectors across ether the public or private sector
- Strong background in Infrastructure & Construction procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and value through strategic procurement.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
