They are seeking a Senior Buyer to take ownership of key capital procurement and indirect spend across a growing multi-site UK network. You’ll manage high-value sourcing projects – from packaging machinery to site services working cross-functionally with engineering, technical, and operations teams. This role would suit someone with experience in Indirect Procurement or Capex & MRO, who’s looking for a more visible, value-driving position in a forward-thinking and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement for Capex and Indirect projects, from supplier selection to contract execution and performance tracking.
- Support group-wide investment plans across equipment, automation, engineering services, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Engage with OEMs, contractors, and service providers to ensure value, compliance, and innovation.
- Drive commercial negotiations and procurement compliance, contributing to continuous improvement across spend areas.
- Partner with engineering and technical stakeholders to shape and align procurement strategy with future business needs.
Your Background
- 3+ years’ experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to Capex, MRO, or engineering related categories.
- Confident managing stakeholders across engineering, operations, and project teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating high-value contracts.
- Familiarity with spend areas such as packaging machinery, conveyors, weighing systems, or site services is a bonus.
- Practical, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
