Do you want to help reimagine how public money is spent, creating better outcomes for communities and driving efficiency across the UK’s most vital services?

A fast-growing boutique consultancy, recognised for delivering procurement and commercial transformation across central government, the NHS, transport, and infrastructure, is expanding its team. They’re seeking Procurement Consultants who want to make a lasting impact on how the public sector buys, builds, and delivers.

This is your chance to influence national programmes, improve the delivery of essential services, and be part of a people-first consultancy where your career truly matters.

Role Responsibilites:

  • Lead and support full-lifecycle procurement and commercial projects across public and regulated sectors — including government departments, NHS trusts, and major infrastructure bodies.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies that go beyond cost reduction, driving sustainability, resilience, and supplier innovation.
  • Provide trusted advice on procurement transformation, supplier negotiations, category management, and compliance with the new Procurement Act.
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders to embed best practice and help shape policy, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Required Experience:

  • Experience or strong understanding of the public sector — whether in central government, NHS, local authorities, or wider regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of the Procurement Act and UK public procurement frameworks (training available if not yet implemented).
  • A track record of achieving measurable savings, improved delivery outcomes, or strategic procurement improvements.
  • Innovative, analytical thinking — with the confidence to challenge traditional approaches and deliver change.
  • Consulting experience is welcome but not essential; transferable expertise from public or regulated environments is highly valued.

Why Join?

  • Contribute to major national projects that directly improve public services and value for money.
  • Work within a consultancy that genuinely puts people and purpose first — offering structured career paths, mentorship, and biannual reviews.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a remote-first setup, balanced with meaningful collaboration and client engagement.
  • Be part of cutting-edge public procurement transformation at a time of historic reform across the UK public sector.
