About the Role
As a purchasing specialist, you will play a key role in shaping procurement operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will lead supplier performance initiatives, drive process improvements, and support team development. Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities across designated categories
- Manage supplier relationships, lead times, pricing strategies, and performance tracking
- Drive forecasting and demand planning alongside commercial and sales teams
- Contribute to pricing reviews and KPI reporting for leadership
- Champion process improvements and ensure compliance with internal standards
- Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting growth and succession planning
- Support ERP database accuracy and procurement system development
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a purchasing, Buyer or Senior Buyer role
- CIPS Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
