We are partnering with a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting the UK education sector to appoint multiple Procurement Consultants based in Northampton/Milton Keynes. You will work as a procurement consultant, directly supporting educational institutions across the UK, managing tenders, delivering procurement consultancy services, and helping them buy compliantly and cost-effectively. Real impact, real variety, real purpose.

What you will be doing:
- Deliver end-to-end procurement services, from strategic sourcing advice through to tender management and contract award
- Manage tender exercises including ITT preparation, bid evaluation, and supplier selection
- Provide consultancy services such as spend analysis, contract management, procurement strategy development, and compliance advice
- Support clients using compliant procurement frameworks and help them navigate the Procurement Act and PCR
- Conduct onsite procurement support for institutions with resource challenges
- Work across a variety of categories such as FM services, IT, catering, and professional services
- Deliver training and guidance on procurement best practices to client stakeholders
What they need:
- 1+ year procurement experience with exposure to end-to-end procurement
- Experience or exposure to bids and managing tenders
- Public sector experience highly desirable (education sector is a bonus)
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act and Public Contracts Regulations (or eager to learn)
- Client management or stakeholder engagement experience
- Category experience in FM, IT, catering, or professional services (ideal but not essential)
- CIPS not required - they will support you in getting qualified
- Willingness to learn and genuine passion for supporting education
