Globally Energy Organisation committed to driving sustainability and innovation, are actively seeking reliable and forward-thinking procurement leader with experience in sourcing hydrogen, to join their growing team in a newly created position. With a strategic focus on transitioning to cleaner energy solutions, this role will play a pivotal role in implementing sourcing strategies across a business-critical hydrogen project.
As a Procurement Manager – Renewables (Hydrogen), you will:
- Business partner with cross functional stakeholder groups to drive commercial strategies across core Hydrogen projects
- Assess and evaluate procurement risk, ensuring effective communication and implementation of procurement strategies around these
- Identify and qualify suppliers, managing the contract negotiations and award, ensuring supplier selection is in line with wider business goals
- Drive supply chain performance, looking at continuous improvement agenda, complin evidence in alignment with KPIs
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in working on large energy procurement projects, particularly within Hydrogen
- An understanding of the Hydrogen supply chain, and knowledge of managing, procurement, sourcing & contract management within this world
- Comprehensive understanding of the full end to end procurement process
- Strong focus on cost-effectiveness while maintaining product quality and compliance with relevant environmental regulations
- Willingness to travel when required
- MCIPS or equivalent ideal
