Multi award winning Global E/CTRM software firm seeks a bright Power Trading ETRM Senior Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their European Consulting business, based from anywhere in the UK, as you’ll need to pay UK Tax but don’t need to go into an office.

My client are a very modern, Cloud / Saas based energy/commodity trading software business, they are NOT one of the older American, venture capital owned E/CTRM firms .

My client specializes in Power, Natural Gas, Crude Oil, Refined Products, NGLs and LNG Trading, but does also have Metals and Agriculture Commodity clients.

This is a Power Trading ETRM Functional Senior Business Analyst role but needs someone with some ETRM software configuration skills , so you’ll ideally have good SQL and maybe Python, Crystal Reports skills (not essential though). This is not a Developer role, but is looking for someone with some techy skills.

This is a remote (home) based role with some travel to client site every few weeks, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.You can work from client site 5 days per week if you prefer but most of the business work from home 90% of the time and go into the client office when needed.

You’ll be joining a very well established global multi-commodity trading software business, who have a very modern, Cloud offering and are making lots of sales in Europe – mainly in Power (hence hiring this role), Natural Gas, Oil and LNG. You’ll be part of a tight knit team helping to implement their ETRM software, but will be their Power Trading SME so as well as acting as the lead of European Power Trading implementations, you will also work in Power Trading PreSales, some Project Management, Product Management and Solutions Architecture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Power Trading ETRM Senior Business Analyst who is either keen to work from home as the default with some time spent on client site, and/or someone keen to join a rapidly growing ETRM software business and play a key role as their Power Trading ETRM SME.
