Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day operational execution of physical oil trades
  • Coordinating cargo movements, vessel nominations and scheduling activities
  • Handling operational documentation including invoices, letters of credit and cargo documents
  • Supporting freight, demurrage and operational cost processes
  • Liaising with terminals, inspectors and external counterparties
  • Monitoring storage and stock reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate trade and cargo data within internal systems
  • Supporting compliance and sanctions-related processes

Requirements

  • 1–4 years’ experience in commodity trading operations
  • Physical oil/products market exposure preferred
  • Understanding of cargo operations, shipping or scheduling activities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience within refined products, freight operations or biofuels would be advantageous.
