Global E/CTRM (Energy / Commodity Trading & Risk Management) software house seeks an experienced Sales Director / Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join and lead their Sales business, based from anywhere in Europe.
Salary: £/€160-200k base + 50% commission/bonus + benefits
The successful European Sales Director / CRO will be largely hands off in doing new business sales themselves but must have a strong track record and network in E/CTRM software sales – 100% essential.
The role will involve you setting the go-to-market strategy, managing and upskilling the existing E/CTRM Sales, Presales and Customer Success Teams (based across their European offices), growing the sales team and working with the rest of the senior leadership team on the direction of the business. Key to their continued growth is expansion into the North American market which is likely to include the acquisition of a smaller North American E/CTRM software business.
Continued heavy investment in technology and innovation, most prominently through Artificial Intelligence (AI), is fundamental to this E/CTRM software business. You will benefit from leading a sales team, selling industry leading, bleeding edge technology.
It is 100% essential that the incoming European Sales Director has a significant amount of experience working in and selling E/CTRM software in Europe, so has built up a strong rolodex of contacts, gravitas and credibility with prospective clients and other senior leaders in the energy/commodity trading software market. Although you are unlikely to be managing the sales cycles yourself, you will work closely with your sales team, attending meetings with them, speaking with existing clients and ultimately growing both new business/ticket sales and upselling existing clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E/CTRM Sales Director who is looking to step up into a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) role, growing their European and wider global client base, operating at Board Level and helping a very established and leading E/CTRM business to continue to grow.
