Overview
In this role you will support the Biofuels trading desk by managing sustainability mass balance across the supply chain, ensuring regulatory and certification compliance. You will act as the internal focal point for sustainability documentation and drive certifications, audits, and feedstock traceability. You will also contribute to analytics, market insights, and digitalisation initiatives that enhance sustainability performance and value from certified products. This is a hands-on role in a global trading environment where cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement matter.

Responsibilities
- Manage sustainability mass balance activities across the supply chain and reconcile sustainable feedstock and products
- Collect, review, and maintain sustainability documentation for inbound/outbound transactions per regulatory and certification requirements
- Support commercial activities by optimizing available sustainability balances and maximizing value from certified products
- Serve as the internal focal point for sustainability documentation and compliance with Operations, Trading, Biorefineries, Logistics, and Back Office
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance feedstock traceability and align with company sustainability standards
- Coordinate certification activities and manage relationships with certification bodies and industry associations
- Lead and support certification audits, including documentation prep and readiness actions
- Provide ad hoc analytical support and contribute to market analysis and sustainability-related developments
- Prepare internal reports, presentations and updates on trading, sustainability performance and opportunities
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years in BioFuels Trading or related BioFuels Trading role
- Strong understanding of sustainability certification schemes, traceability requirements, and renewable fuel regulations
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with PowerBI or similar digital reporting tools is a plus
- Excellent stakeholder management with suppliers, customers, certification bodies, and internal teams
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Physics, IT)
