We're partnering with a rapidly expanding global ETRM consultancy experiencing explosive European growth (500% YoY) to appoint an ETRM-savvy Engagement Lead to manage and expand their growing portfolio of tier-1 energy and commodities clients across EMEA. This is a pure account management role – not new business hunting. You'll inherit strategically important clients from the Sales team and focus on delivering excellence, building deep relationships, and identifying expansion opportunities within those accounts.
Why This Role is Different:
- Competitive Salary: £110k–£145k base + 2.5% commission on all account sales
- Pure Account Management, Not Sales: Manage 1–3 existing strategic accounts focusing on client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and organic growth
- ETRM-Focused Expertise: Work exclusively in commodity trading and risk management technology with tier-1 energy clients
- Rapid Growth & Agility: 500% European growth last year with the speed and decision-making of a scale-up
- Strategic Impact: New role created specifically to support European expansion. You'll shape how they manage their fastest-growing region
- Career Progression: Direct line to Director of Sales or MD. Clear pathway as they scale
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the Client Relationship: Act as primary point of contact for 1–3 strategic EMEA accounts (clients acquired by Sales)
- Ensure Delivery Excellence: Oversee ETRM/CTRM project execution, working closely with delivery teams on Endur, Aspect, Allegro, Orchestrade, and other E/CTRM Softwares
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Spot upsell and expansion opportunities within your accounts – new modules, upgrades, additional commodities, cloud migrations
- Commercial Stewardship: Shape proposals, manage budgets, and ensure projects deliver on client expectations and commercial objectives
- Strategic Partnerships: Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite, Trading, Risk, and IT stakeholders
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM forecasting and opportunity tracking for your accounts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Delivery, and leadership to align on account strategy and execution
What We're Looking For:
- ETRM/CTRM consulting background – you've delivered projects and programs, not just sold them
- Functional and business knowledge: This could include experience with either Endur, Aspect, Allegro, Orchestrade, and/or other E/CTRM software
- Extensive experience in energy trading technology – commodities markets (Power, Gas, Oil, Refined Products)
- Program oversight experience – you understand ETRM delivery lifecycles and can bridge commercial and technical discussions
- UK-based or major EMEA hub (London preferred; Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Madrid also considered)
Ideal candidate profile: Senior ETRM Consultant, Program Manager, or Delivery Lead ready to transition into a commercially accountable client partnership role.
