Lead LNG Trading Business Analyst

Global and rapidly growing commodity trading house seeks a Lead LNG Trading Business Analyst to join either their Singapore or London offices, to build their capability in LNG, managing the end -to-end life-cycle of LNG Globally.

My client are a well known global commodity trading house with trading desks in Houston, London, Geneva, Singapore, Dubai etc, who trade Natural Gas, Power, Freight (Wet & Dry, including Oil), Metals and Ags. They do currently trade LNG but are aggressively growing their LNG Trading desks in both London and Singapore, so are looking to increase their expertise in LNG Trading, with this key Lead LNG Trading Business Analyst hire.

Working on both an Endur v24, IMOS and LNG specific system, you will own and define the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring systems and processes support physical LNG trading from deal capture to delivery.You will act as a Lead BA in requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design across Front and Middle Office functions, including Operations. You will act as the key interface between trading, operations and technology stakeholders.

Key skills sought

  • Proven track record supporting physical LNG Trading working as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst
  • Hands on functional or techno-functional E/CTRM systems experience, ideally with some hands-on experience of Endur and IMOS
  • Experience of LNG scheduling and operation tools (inhouse or vendor built)
  • Strong Front and Middle Office processes, especially trade capture, operations and risk
  • Exposure to LNG cargo operations and vessel nomination workflows
  • Experience delivering change across multi system trading environments
  • Fantastic senior stakeholder management and business analysis skills
