Junior Buyer – Multinational Firm - Remote (with occasional travel to Manchester or London)- Up to £35,000 + 10% Bonus + CIPS Sponsorship + Package

A rapidly growing multinational organisation is seeking a motivated Junior Buyer — or a high-potential graduate — to join its expanding Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with presence and confidence to work with both internal and external stakeholders, and who brings strong Excel skills to the table.

You’ll receive close mentorship from a highly experienced line manager and gain valuable, one-on-one training. This role offers a clear path for progression, with the opportunity to advance to

Category Manager within 18–24 months, along with full CIPS sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior Buyer, you will:

  • Collaborate with regional and global category teams to help implement category strategies
  • Contribute to the team’s financial goals by engaging in commercial discussions, negotiating supplier terms, and identifying cost optimisation opportunities
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with the company’s procurement policies
  • Support the broader procurement team while gaining exposure to a wide range of product categories
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders across the procurement function
  • Draft supplier contracts and ensure product availability across the business

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong financial acumen and a commercially savvy mindset, with a passion for achieving results
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in MS Teams and the full MS Office suite
  • A detail-oriented and analytical mindset — Power BI experience is a plus
  • The ability to build trusted relationships quickly and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence speaking with stakeholders from different levels and cultures

Note: Previous procurement experience is not essential — this role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the field.
