We are supporting a global organisation in the search for an Interim Technology Category Manager to join a high-performing procurement function. This role will focus on a broad range of technology spend categories, including Software, Cloud, IT Professional Services, Infrastructure, Networks, Hardware and Data Centre services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract renewal activity across technology spend categories
  • Support the development and execution of category strategies
  • Deliver commercial value through supplier management and procurement best practice
  • Partner with stakeholders across a complex global organisation
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

Requirements:

  • Proven technology procurement experience across Software, Cloud and/or IT Professional Services
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capability
  • Experience operating within a large, complex organisation
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Available to start at short notice
