This cutting-edge brand with a strong heritage seek an Interim Procurement Project Manager to take ownership of a strategic outsourcing initiative to manage tail spend, drive efficiency, innovation, and real change.

This isn\’t just any contract. You\’ll be stepping into a fast-moving, high-performance culture where procurement plays a critical role in shaping the future. Your mission? To lead the outsourcing of tail spend to a best-fit third-party provider-unlocking time, value, and scalability for the business.

What You\’ll Do:

• Lead the end-to-end project to outsource tail spend procurement, from scoping and partner selection to onboarding and transition.
• Map and analyse existing tail spend across categories and suppliers, identifying opportunities for consolidation, cost reduction, and process improvement.
• Engage and manage stakeholders across procurement, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• Work closely with the chosen BPO partner to design and implement a fit-for-purpose service model, SLAs, governance structure, and performance metrics.
• Drive improved visibility, compliance, and control over low-value, high-volume spend.
• Ensure a smooth change management process with minimal disruption to business continuity.

What We\’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in procurement transformation, particularly outsourcing tail spend or indirect procurement functions.
• Strong knowledge of BPO/vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable navigating data and spend analytics, using insights to drive decisions.
• Self-sufficient, pragmatic, and delivery-focused, with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
