A globally recognised consumer and media organisation is seeking an experienced Interim IT Procurement Manager to support a high profile transformation programme across its technology function. Operating within a highly creative and fast paced environment, this role will partner directly with senior business leaders across technology and wider corporate functions, helping shape and deliver procurement activity across a broad technology portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor who enjoys operating at pace, influencing stakeholders and bringing structure to evolving environments without unnecessary process.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activity across software, SaaS, cloud, telecoms and wider technology spend
  • Own and deliver complex sourcing projects and RFP activity from initial strategy through to implementation
  • Partner closely with senior technology and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted procurement advisor
  • Support ongoing procurement transformation initiatives and supplier management activity
  • Drive commercial value, supplier performance improvements and risk mitigation across strategic agreements
  • Introduce practical governance and procurement best practice within a changing environment
Experience Required
  • Strong interim or contract experience within technology procurement
  • Proven experience across software, SaaS, cloud and wider IT sourcing categories
  • Strong track record delivering complex negotiations and large scale procurement projects
  • Comfortable operating within fast moving and evolving organisations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior level
  • Hands on and delivery focused with a proactive approach
