Following continued expansion across FM delivery and a strong pipeline of new client growth opportunities, my client is looking to appoint an FM Category Manager to support strategic procurement activity across complex FM contracts and growth opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales, and requires an individual with strong FM category expertise who also understands the commercial importance of supporting and winning new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will bring deep FM procurement and category management experience across Hard and Soft Services, alongside the commercial mindset and stakeholder skills needed to operate within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Importantly, this role requires someone who not only understands FM procurement and supplier strategy, but who can also work closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support pricing, competitiveness, and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage FM procurement and category strategy across Hard and Soft Services
  • Build and manage strategic supplier and subcontractor relationships
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams with supplier strategy, pricing, and procurement expertise across growth opportunities
  • Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, and sourcing activity to drive value and competitiveness
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to deliver commercially robust FM solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supply chain efficiencies, and margin improvement
  • Support mobilisation activity and ensure procurement governance and compliance
Key Experience Required:
  • Strong FM procurement and category management experience across Hard and Soft Services
  • Experience managing FM suppliers and subcontractors within complex environments
  • Strong commercial negotiation and sourcing capability
  • Understanding of pricing, commercial models, and supporting business growth opportunities
  • Experience working within or closely alongside Sales / Commercial / Bid teams, with an understanding of how to support winning new business
  • Ability to work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and senior stakeholders
