The Procurement Manager supports the Lead Procurement Manager in delivering sourcing and category strategies across Engineering & Maintenance within an airline environment. The role covers the procurement of base and line maintenance, rotable and consumable components, powerplant support, airframe maintenance and technical services across multiple operating locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing and tender processes for MRO, OEM and component supplier contracts
  • Support category strategies for heavy maintenance, line maintenance, spares, powerplant and airframe support
  • Conduct spend analysis and market assessments across the global aviation aftermarket
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with MROs, OEMs, lessors and component suppliers
  • Manage supplier relationships to drive cost efficiency, service levels, reliability and compliance
  • Ensure contracts provide appropriate commercial protection, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
  • Maintain accurate contract, supplier and pricing data within procurement systems
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technical Services, Maintenance Planning, Finance and Legal teams
  • Deputise for the Lead Procurement Manager and support junior procurement team members

Skills & Experience

  • Proven procurement experience within an airline, MRO or aircraft leasing organisation
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, technical services and supply chain dynamics
  • Commercially strong negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing complex technical and maintenance contracts
