What you’ll be doing:
- Taking ownership of strategic procurement across key logistics spend, with a primary focus on Road Transportation and additional responsibility for Ocean Freight.
- Developing sourcing strategies, leading complex commercial negotiations and managing key supplier relationships.
- Acting as the procurement lead for senior stakeholders across logistics and supply chain functions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance, supplier capability and long-term value.
- Playing a key role in a procurement function where decisions are made quickly and procurement has real influence.
What they’re looking for:
- Strong Logistics Procurement experience (operational logistics experience alone won’t be sufficient).
- Category expertise across Road Transportation, with Ocean Freight experience highly desirable.
- Excellent strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management capability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at a senior level.
