Dubai based Crude Oil & Refined Products CTRM Business Analyst
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Crude Oil & Refined Products Business Analyst keen to relocate to Dubai, enjoy tax free money, lots of sunshine and all importantly, join the brand new / start-up asset backed commodity trading arm of a top 15 Global Oil Major and be part of that journey.
Company: Asset backed commodity trading firm 18 months into setting up their global trading desk in Dubai
Role: Dynamic Crude Oil & Refined Products Business Analyst to work closely with a Senior CTRM Business Analyst in managing all the company’s day-to-day Oil Trading Operations, supporting the traders
Location: This is a Dubai (UAE) based role so it is essential that you either currently live or are happy to relocate to Dubai and work 5 days in their Dubai office (there will be more flexibility as they grow on working from home)
Visa: Full UAE visa sponsorship and relocation allowance & assistance provided
Salary: AED 34k PCM (AED 408k) / £82k basic + relocation allowance & assistance + UAE visa sponsorship + benefits
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for management of the company’s inhouse E/CTRM system, ERP systems, compliance tools and analytics platform
- Core business analysis – requirements gathering, writing functional specs, training users and supporting users on the E/CTRM system…..
- Working closely with the trading desks to optimize application functionality and user experience
- Day-to-day support
Key skills sought:
- 5 years+ Crude Oil & Refined Products ETRM / CTRM knowledge gained working in a business analyst role, ideally for another Oil Major / Commodity Trading firm, although you could have worked for a consultancy or E/CTRM software vendor working onsite at Oil Majors / Commodity Trading firms
- Good SQL and Database skills
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and problem solving skills
- Degree educated, ideally in a Computer Science or related discipline
- Fluency in English, with Arabic fluency being useful
