If you’re a procurement professional with experience in highways or civil infrastructure, this role is designed for you. You’ll join a well-established highways infrastructure organisation and play a key role in delivering procurement across major transport programmes with long-term funding and visibility. You will sit within a mature procurement function and take ownership of construction procurement activity across subcontract, materials and services packages. You’ll work closely with commercial and delivery teams, applying NEC and JCT contracts to deliver compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes and build strong supplier relationships.
Role responsibilities
- You will support procurement delivery across major highways and transport infrastructure programmes.
- You will manage end-to-end procurement activity including sourcing, tendering and contract award.
- You will work with NEC and JCT contracts across subcontract and supplier packages.
- You will partner with commercial and project teams to deliver effective procurement outcomes.
- You will help improve construction procurement processes and best practice.
