PROCUREMENT – CONSTRUCTION PROCUREMENT MANAGER - Leadership Role Within 2 Years - £65,000-£75,000 + Car + Bonus + Shares + Full Package - Central London or South East England based
One of the UK’s leading construction organisations is investing heavily in its Strategic Procurement Hub. With a pipeline of multi‑million‑pound projects, they are seeking a Construction Procurement specialist to join their award‑winning team. In a highly dynamic, project‑driven environment, the Construction Category Manager will bring strategic leadership and vision to advance infrastructure in the health sector and raise public expectations of delivery.
As Construction Procurement Manager you will:
- Lead complex sourcing and procurement projects across Construction & FM categories, leveraging experience with JCT / NEC3
- Cultivate and maintain senior stakeholder relationships to expand procurement’s influence into non‑traditional spend areas
- Use deep category management and sourcing expertise to drive transformational change and process improvements
- Mentor and guide junior procurement specialists on sourcing best practices (full formal management not required)
- Degree (or equivalent) is preferred
- PRINCE2 & MCIPS are advantageous (but not strictly mandatory)
- Proven experience in FM / Construction procurement
- Exposure to JCT or NEC3 contracts is a strong plus
- A growth mindset and readiness to be pushed beyond the comfort zone
- Ambition for leadership and openness to international opportunities
