We are supporting a global organisation in the search for an Interim Technology Category Manager to join a high-performing procurement function. This role will focus on a broad range of technology spend categories, including Software, Cloud, IT Professional Services, Infrastructure, Networks, Hardware and Data Centre services.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract renewal activity across technology spend categories
- Support the development and execution of category strategies
- Deliver commercial value through supplier management and procurement best practice
- Partner with stakeholders across a complex global organisation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
Requirements:
- Proven technology procurement experience across Software, Cloud and/or IT Professional Services
- Strong commercial and negotiation capability
- Experience operating within a large, complex organisation
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders and suppliers
- Available to start at short notice
