Day Rate: £600-£700 per day

We are supporting a global organisation in the search for an Interim Professional Services Category Manager to provide additional support during a period of transformation and growth. The role will focus primarily on Consultancy, Legal, Finance, Tax and Advisory spend, whilst also supporting wider Corporate Services and People-related categories.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic sourcing and supplier management activity across professional services categories
  • Continue the development of category strategies and governance programmes
  • Drive commercial value and process improvements across a global spend portfolio
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Support and develop more junior members of the procurement team

Requirements:

  • Strong procurement experience across Professional Services categories
  • Experience managing consultancy, legal and advisory spend is highly desirable
  • Ability to influence stakeholders within a complex, global environment
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of delivering tangible value
  • Available to start at short notice
