My client is a globally renowned, £Multi-Billion firm who seek an highly credible and experienced Interim Procurement professional to join their world class procurement function. The interim strategic procurement professional will play a key role in delivering the ERP, PMO and Digital Transformation. This will entail both IT and Professional Services related spend which will facilitate workload management, project / procurement tracking and simplified reporting across multiple different business divisions. This programme aims to develop the reporting & tracking centers to maximize commercial benefit, reduce the firm’s appetite for future risk and help senior leaders to make informed and commercially effective decisions.
The interim strategic procurement manager will be instrumental in delivering the Project Management Office (PMO) which will act as a central support structure to help the FTSE100 to deliver and change initiative. The PMO will improve the firms ability to centralise and organise workloads, standardize tracking metrics, implement best practices and provide easier access to progress reports for both stakeholder and executives to help prioritize projects and drive toward business objectives.
The firm are offering circa £550 – £640 per day and are looking to hire an interim on short initial contract with the intention to extend the contract over several years subject to business approval and the release of new budgets. This period will oversee the ERP & Digital Transformations projects, there is a technical team who are implementing the ERP Transformation, S2P and the PMO etc they seek a Procurement professional to help commercially deliver this transformation (SAAS agreements, Professional Services, IT, Software etc )

Key Responsibilities & Desired Experience:
- Strong end to end indirect procurement experience and knowledge of basic reporting requirements.
- Procurement experience in delivering a portfolio; digital transformations, project procurement, professional services, IT Procurement related spend (preferable).
- Experience / knowledge of dashboards, large scale reporting and processes, understanding the risks associates with ERP Transformation and Digital Programme Management.
- Experience in dealing with ambiguity, ability to take a hands-on approach and drive delivery.
- Ability to implement procurement processes and structure to facilitate the delivery of Digital Transformation and ERP replacement.
- Inform / partially manage / allocate work to 2 – 5x contractors who will support the procurement delivery of the ERP & Digtial Transformation.
- Strong Stakeholder Management experience, the ability to effectively build and leverage relationships to achieve positive project / programme outcomes.
- Experience in Project Management / Programme Management relating to the new reporting, tracking, governance, procurement insights hubs as part of the ERP Replacement & Digital Technology transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management and SRM experience, strong influencing, presentation and communication skills. Ability to present to senior leaders, pre-empt questions and inform decisions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with complex problem-solving.
- CIPS or MCIPS qualified. Degree or equivalent qualification.
