Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in a related industry. We have an exceptional opportunity to join a growing engineering services organisation where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing high-profile projects. You will be managing key projects around security and technology operations in an ever-changing fast paced environment.
About the Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee the and co-ordinate end to end procurement and management of contracts across a wider team spend portfolio of £300M across 22 strategic suppliers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering essential products and services, including security lanes, police collaboration, and drone operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and draft framework agreements, work packages, and instructions to work.
- Lead the running of tenders and coordinate professional services.
- Conduct briefings and maintain effective communication with suppliers.
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes while ensuring timely delivery of high-profile projects.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to translate design and engineering requirements into actionable contracts.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-5 + years of experience in contract drafting and management
- A background in defence or related fields, with a flexible approach to adapting to varying project needs
- Strong understanding of design and engineering requirements
- Six Sigma certification preferred, with a focus on process improvement
