We are working exclusively with a global procurement consultancy with significant UK market presence, to appoint an IT Procurement Manager/Consultant into its established and high-performing IT procurement practice.
Day-to-day, you will consult directly with clients to identify cost saving opportunities within their IT spend. This means analysing spend data, understanding the software and services being purchased, and advising on practical improvements such as supplier consolidation and stronger contracting arrangements. You will go into client environments, run discovery activity, and translate findings into actionable savings recommendations.
The team works with private and public sector clients and is looking for someone who will integrate well and commit long-term.

Role Responsibilities / Summary
- Consulting with clients to identify and deliver cost savings across their IT spend
- Analysing spend data and understanding software and service purchasing patterns
- Running discovery activity within client environments to map spend profiles
- Developing and presenting actionable savings recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Advising on supplier consolidation, improved contracting and procurement strategy
- Engaging and influencing senior client stakeholders to adopt recommendations
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of IT spend categories and where savings opportunities exist
- Proven, evidenced track record of delivering cost savings – clearly demonstrated on CV
- Ability to analyse spend data and translate insight into practical recommendations
- Consultancy experience preferred but not essential – strong commercial mindset and soft skills can compensate
- Public sector procurement knowledge advantageous, particularly around frameworks
